Rick's Motorsport Electrics Starter Motor - 61-001 Find Starter Group at Chaparral Motorsports
Affordable starters that are constructed with longer life bearings than O.E.M. Many O.E.M starter motors have an unprotected output needle bearing on the outside of the output shaft's seal, allowing moisture to enter the output cap of the electric motor and follow the armature shaft to the unprotected output needle bearing, which corrodes the bearing. Rick's takes the extra step of installing a double sealed ball bearing, with the output shaft seal on the outside of the bearing in this aftermarket unit. This simple application of common sense engineering does two things: first, the outside bearing is now protected from damaging water entry, and second, the sealed ball bearing is replaceable.

Chaparral Motorsports' standard shipping time is 5-7 business days via Ground services. (Tires and oversized items ship via USPS or UPS Ground). Shipping requires a street address. Shipping available to United States only. Chaparral customers will receive an email notification of the shipment along with tracking information, if available.
Return Policy for U.S. Residents
We take great pride in our reputation for quality and excellent value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we'll assist you with a prompt refund. All returns for refund must be returned within 30 days from receipt date. Returns must be in new condition and include original product packaging. Return freight paid by the customer. Returns older than 30 days require a return authorization from our customer service department.
