The LD-12 water leak detector identifies leaks in underground lines. Six selectable audio filters allow you to drown out backgound noise and zero in on leaks. The meter/amplifier weighs only 31 ounces and features a large meter display with backlighting for dark areas. The leak detectors meter/amplifier also comes with a padded carrying bag and strap.The LD-12 also includes a base plate for “ground miking” on city streets or concrete slabs and both a magnet base and a contact rod for water leak “surveying” at hydrants, valves, and meters.
The LD-12 Professional’s Plus Water Leak Detector has long been the choice of professionals at water departments, leak detection services companies, and others who need a leak detector with excellent sensitivity and good amplification with no electronic hiss or distortion.

“Limitter” switch which cuts off all loud noises greater than 110dB. If you drop the sensor, you won’t hurt your hearing.
“Filter-Thru” switch, which turns OFF all of the amp’s filters, allowing the user to hear all sounds from 50Hz to 15,000Hz.
High-sensitivity ground microphone and low “electronic noise” amplifier combine to offer the very best quality sound for leak detection.
