Description
Three focal beads from my mother's unusual bead collection. One is a 32 mm x 23 mm oval disk-shaped tribal looking face with the Ohm symbol on the reverse. It is made from a white clay that has been exposed by scraping away the black surface glaze. The green and red "war paint" was added later in the engraving. The second bead is a curved tube of wood that was painted with a woman's face with enamel (it has a 2 mm hole).
The third bead is opaque glass formed into a two-faced head (same face on both sides). This bead has a larger 4 mm hole and weighs 22 g. The head is about 3 cm in diameter.
